The ProMariner ProSafe FS50-60 is a 50–60 A galvanic isolator that blocks galvanic current conducted through the shore power safety ground from other boats in the marina.
The shared ground conductor on a common pontoon causes electrolytic (galvanic) corrosion on the shaft, propeller, and metal fittings of your boat; the isolator blocks this stray current and protects the metalwork. The FailSafe design maintains continuity of the safety ground even in the event of a fault, preserving electrical safety.
