The Mastervolt Charge Combiner 2502 is an electro-mechanical battery combiner relay that automatically connects and disconnects two battery banks. It carries 500 A continuous current in 12/24 V systems and handles up to 2,000 A peak current for short durations.
It connects battery banks in parallel during charging to charge them all simultaneously, then automatically separates them during discharge to protect the starter battery. Its robust electro-mechanical relay construction is suited to demanding marine conditions (−40…+60 °C) and high currents.
