Many boat installations have two or more batteries that provide power separately to 12V or 24V equipment. Naturally, this also means the charging system needs to be separated. This makes the charging system more complicated, as either the Mastervolt alternator or battery charger must charge the batteries separately. The best and safest solution for supplying custom charging current to various battery groups is achieved using Mastervolt high-quality battery isolators. This reliable solution allows sequential charging of two batteries from the alternator and/or battery charger without combining both batteries.
