They can handle very high short-circuit currents drawn by modern battery technologies such as Mastervolt's Lithium Ion or AGM battery technologies, where standard circuit breakers and fuses may have breaking values below these values. Pro-Installer T-Class fuse holders are compatible with 225-400 Ampere fuses respectively.
